I have spent the past decade telling stories. In print, through photos, or through video, I hope to provide a platform for those who don't have one and shine a light on both issues and solutions. I have worked for news institutions, including USA Today, The Guardian, Mother Jones, and HuffPost, helped launch a publication at a tech company, and produced an award-winning documentary. I hope you will check out some examples of my work below. Thanks for taking the time.
I tell stories. Can I tell yours?
By the second grade, I knew exactly what I wanted to be — a doctor. I was going to help people feel better. Endlessly curious and fascinated by science it seemed like the perfect fit. At least until my teacher noticed something different. "You are going to be a writer," she told me. All these years later, her prediction proved true. I have dedicated my life to telling stories. I still want to help people and I am still endlessly curious. But now, with pen to paper, fingers on keyboard, or looking through a lens, I am able to combine those skills and passions into a purpose and bring important issues to life. My interests have led me to cover a vast array of topics but at the heart of it all, I know my focus is people, the problems that plague them, and the innovative solutions driving progress. Through journalism, engagement, and project-management I hope to do my part. Thank you for visiting my page, I would love to hear from you!
